Problems where the order actually matters

Every expression on the sheet is chosen so that doing the steps in the wrong order gives a different (wrong) answer — 7 + 3 × 4 only works if the multiplication goes first. Division problems are built from whole-number quotients so no expression ever strands a child in fractions, and subtractions can never dip below zero.

The parentheses pill is the difficulty ladder: start without them to drill multiply-and-divide-first, switch to with-parentheses to practice do-the-brackets-first, or deal a mixed sheet that makes students read before they compute. Six or eight problems per page, and the key writes every answer in green.
